Marcia Cross became a famous American actress when she portrayed the psychotic Dr. Kimberly Shaw on the popular TV show "Melrose Place". Her fame exploded as she played Bree Van De Kamp on the dramedy show that is hugely loved on television show "Desperate Housewives". Her first role was on the soap series "The End of the Night" in which she starred in a role of minor importance in the role of Liz Correll. It was only when she got a substantial role when she moved in Los Angeles. She went on to appear in six TV shows like 'The End Days of Frank' as well as Jessie James'. The actress played Kate Sanders in 'One Life to Live', and later made a guest appearance in 'Knots Landing'. In the show "Desperate Housewives," she finally got her first role of a lifetime after numerous dramas and films. Her role as Bree Van De Kamp was the reason she was able to earn her place on Forbes' list of the most lucrative TV actors. Her nominations included many TV awards for this same job. She plays President Claire Haas, in a hit thriller called 'Quantico.'
