Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed received a lot of attention from the media. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream, and an aptitude to write songs that are emotional with inspiring lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music. Polydor Records offered her a deal as an important label.
