Morgan was the captain of UC Berkeley in goals during her first year. She played in four NCAA Tournaments. The Gold Bears were among the first to win the Hermann Trophy for best collegiate player. The 33-year-old champion has spoken up several times detailing her admiration for no other player than Argentine soccer legend Lionel Messi.
